A passionate advocate for transformative ministry and leadership development, Rev. Creighton Drew Alexander, PhD, brings over two decades of experience in higher education to the table. He possesses a diverse background as a Campus Pastor, Fellow, and Professor within higher education, bringing a commitment to Biblical, purposeful, and transformative campus ministry and leadership development. Grounded in a deep faith and commitment to empowering others, Creighton has dedicated his career to fostering worship, discipleship, and leadership skills in young adults.

Creighton's journey began with a calling to equip individuals for lives of purpose and meaning. As a Wesley Foundation pastor, he served in diverse university settings, from private institutions like Southern Methodist University to state colleges such as the University of Kansas and the University of Alabama. This varied experience ignited a passion for helping young adults discover their unique vocational paths, leading him to pursue a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Kansas As a Harry Denman Fellow ( A Foundation for Theological Education and the Foundation for Evangelism), Creighton explored the intersection of education, faith, and human development, gaining valuable insights into emerging adult identity formation.

Creighton remains dedicated to shaping entrepreneurial leaders for ministry in the local church, parachurch ministries, and in mission to the world. His experience encompasses starting worshiping communities, evangelism training, discipleship, Biblical teaching, fundraising, and leadership development. He also developed the Campus Ministry Boot Camp, which has empowered over 100 campus ministry teams have participated in, and is due to become a book in 2026. Driven by a desire to equip and support the next generation of Christian leaders, Creighton seeks to create environments where individuals can discover their gifts and serve the world.

Creighton received his B.A. from Texas Tech University in Psychology, a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary, and his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Kansas.

Creighton currently lives in Houston, TX where teaches at Houston Christian University’s School of Christian Thought. He has three college-age children and the best “good girl” Dualla the Aussiedoodle.
